10 years today marks the anniversary of 9/11 for some this means the thought of being vulnerable; as one of the world super powers it feels almost as if we we’re untouchable… Till this tragedy changed all our perspectives…

I myself was in High School and can recall being in the cafeteria when a group of guys barge in shouting “the towers went down… let’s get down to the city ..” as they wonder if there parents / love ones are ok

Jay-Z’s sixth album, “The Blueprint,” hit record stores on the fateful morning of September 11, 2001

That’s an impressive feat for any musician in a time of declining sales — let alone while Americans were still reeling from the worst terror attack on U.S. soil in modern history. The album went on to sell more than 2 million copies, earning a multi-platinum certification, according to the Recording Industry Association of America, which tracks music sales.

Jay -Z performed at The Concert for New York City at Madison Square Garden to benefit the victims of 9/11 in October 2001.

This Sept 11th is filled wit mixed emotions, remembrance and a sense of unity as we remember those who lost there lives…… Bless!
