Louis Vuitton Fall / Winter 2012 “Runway Train” Show

The Louis Vuitton’s show had the most amazing stage setting of the Paris shows. At 10 o’clock a steam engine train pulled onto a runway. As each model stepped from the train, she was met by a uniformed bellman who carried her luggage.

This was easily the most dramatic and fantastic show of the season. -The Sartorialist

With a whistle and a cloud of steam, a blue train chugged Orient Express-style into the courtyard of the Paris Louvre, turned into the setting for Louis Vuitton’s spectacular Fashion Week show last Wednesday. – Yahoo!

Models graced the runway adorning the latest Fall/ Winter wear by LV, The look was all about the romance of a journey, but without the nostalgia stated Marc Jacobs ” “We just imagined this romantic notion. It’s the idea of the trip,” he said of the train motif.”

Models floated down the runway displaying the fall/ winter wear while being followed by train baggage clerks/ bellman carrying new LV handbags and duffles.

Truely a great show!
